By-laws

As a non-profit organization, by-laws are a required legal document that the AIS is responsible for upholding. They provide guidelines for how officers are elected, describe duties of Board members, define who is eligible to run for Board positions, describe meeting details (how often meetings are held, required agenda items), and detail the voting process.  They also define the AIS’ purpose, membership, responsibilities, and define fiscal year.
